Serpentine Camping Centre has a range of facilities and equipment to enhance your camping experience.

SPORTS FACILITIES

INDOORS-

• sports stadium with parquetry floor marked with lines for
  • volleyball,
  • basketball,
  • netball,
  • badminton,
• Climbing wall from beginner to advanced footholds (supervision required).
• 2 table tennis tables
• Also features:
• 4 meeting rooms for discussion/teaching/craft groups.
• disabled shower/toilet.

OUTDOORS

• 25m pool, seperate wading pool.
• volleyball, basketball, tennis courts.
• mini golf
• grass oval for archery and games
• quarry abseiling (by arrangment with provider).
• proposed mega flying fox 2004

MEETING FACILITIES

Large meeting hall adjoining dining room with:- .

• Stage
• Public address system
• Roland electric piano, upright piano, organ.
• (Alternatively, the indoor sports stadium used as an auditorium seats 500 with stage and Public Address system for concerts and lectures.

ACCOMMODATION

• A total of 180 people with minimum booking number of 50 required.
• 5 dormitories
• 4 dormitories with bunk beds
• Administration dorm; = internal ablutions & 10 single beds and 1 room of 2 bunks.
• Dormitories 1 & 2 = 80 beds each (5 rooms x 4 bunks)
• Dormitories 3 & 4 = 88 beds each (5 rooms x 4 + 1 room x4).
• Ablutions (3 showers, 3 toilets) at the end of each row.
• Guests need to bring their own sheets, towels, pillowcases, and/or sleeping bags/blankets.

CATERING

• All camps are fully catered.
• Attention to special diets
• Dining room for 200 adjoining meeting hall (separated by full length concertina doors)
